WWE shocked the world last week when the company released a total of 18 Superstars, and it was later reported that some stars were released because they refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine, and age was also a factor when it came to the recent releases.
It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that at least half a dozen of the stars who were released didn’t get the vaccine. It’s being said that refusal to get the vaccine was one of the big reasons why they were released, but that WWE didn’t give them any sort of warning informing talents that they would be cut if they didn’t get vaccinated.
Vaccine status reportedly creates issues for WWE as main roster talents can’t tour foreign countries unless they are vaccinated. The full list of talents who were released on Thursday can be seen below.
