Backstage Details On Why WWE Released Hit Row

WWE has released over 80 Superstars so far this year, and a few weeks ago Hit Row lost a member when B-Fab got cut. It seemed that WWE was moving forward with the remaining members of the group, but this week Top Dolla, Isiah Scott and Ashante thee Adonis all got released as well.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that while Top Dolla came across well on TV, “he rubbed a ton of people the wrong way in NXT and was getting the same reputation on the main roster.”

It was also noted that Top Dolla was the one that Vince McMahon saw as the star of Hit Row due to his size, so once WWE decided to get rid of him it’s likely that Isiah Scott and Ashante thee Adonis ended up getting caught in the crossfire.
