The annual Survivor Series pay-per-view is set to air live on the WWE Network on Sunday, and once again the stars of Raw and SmackDown will be going to war with one another.
Originally Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Lana, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke were set to represent Team Raw at the event, but this week they were pulled from the match then replaced by Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the match was changed because Mandy Rose was legitimately injured during last week’s episode of Raw.
The members of Team Raw brawled last week, and at one point Nia Jax tried to throw Mandy Rose through the ropes, but Mandy landed awkwardly on her shoulder.
It was also noted that Nia is not being blamed for the injury, as it was a freak accident.
Dana Brooke is not injured, but WWE did an injury angle on this week’s show to write Mandy and Dana out of the match.
Hope Mandy Rose is ok. pic.twitter.com/w88goawMti
