Back in September WWE officially relaunched NXT as NXT 2.0, and since then the brand has been focusing on new faces such as current NXT Champion Bron Breakker.
However, the relaunch hasn’t exactly been a hit as viewership has been declining, and it was recently reported that WWE is disappointed with NXT 2.0 after the first four months.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast followed up on the original reports from WrestleVotes, and he noted that a lot of the blame for the NXT 2.0 situation is being placed on the abruptness in regards to how quickly everything was changed. It was also noted that, “Fan perception of the product isn’t helping either.”
Spoke to a source at WWE regarding @WrestleVotes report on WWE being disappointed at how NXT 2.0 is going.
According to my source, a lot of the blame is being put on the abruptness of how everything was changed.
