This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured some interesting segments, and during the show Keith Lee teamed up with Sheamus to take on The Miz and John Morrison.
At one point during the match Keith Lee charged into Morrison in the corner and hit him with the pounce, and he knocked him into the turnbuckle causing the top rope to break off.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the top rope breaking was a planned spot that was done to transition to a commercial break.
WWE reportedly has a mentality that they have to do something big before the commercial break in order to keep the viewer tuned in when the show returns.
Keith Lee commented on the spot when he responded to a GIF with the following: “Don’t fine me bro.”
