The NXT brand was hit with another wave of releases earlier this week, and this time some key figures were removed including William Regal.
In regards to the reaction to William Regal’s release the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that talents and others in the system were “very depressed” and that many were left wondering about the future of the brand.
It’s being said that William Regal was one of the most knowledgable people in wrestling who was responsible for many people getting chances, and that he was well respected across the board. Some of the biggest names in the business reportedly still reach out to Regal for advice on their careers.
