The annual Royal Rumble premium live event aired from San Antonio, TX on Saturday night and it featured some big moments. Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley both won their respective Royal Rumble matches, and Sami Zayn finally cut ties with The Bloodline when he hit Roman Reigns with a steel chair.
WrestleVotes is reporting that people in WWE were happy with how the Royal Rumble matches played out. Gunther’s performance and Logan Paul’s crazy spot with Ricochet were mentioned as two of the highlights, along with The Bloodline angle which stole the show.

PWInsider is also reporting that people in WWE are “extremely thrilled” with the Royal Rumble viewership on Peacock. It’s being said that viewership this year was well up in great numbers compared to last year’s show.
Triple H noted during the post-show press conference that the 2023 Royal Rumble drew the largest live gate in the history of the show and that WWE hit their highest sponsorship numbers for the event.
