WWE recently shuffled the rosters around during the 2020 Draft, and fans have also seen some interesting returns over the last few weeks.
Lars Sullivan recently made his return to the SmackDown brand, and it’s clear for some time now that WWE officials want to push Sullivan to the top of the card.
Dave Meltzer discussed Lars Sullivan’s push on Wrestling Observer Radio, and he noted that The Freak is the only star Vince McMahon is interested in elevating right now.
“I mean there’s nobody. I mean nobody. But when you’re talking about one guy that they’re elevating – Lars Sullivan. That’s the guy.”
WWE has been pushing the nickname The Freak for Lars Sullivan pretty hard as of late, and it’s rumored that the company could officially be changing his name to The Freak moving forward.
