A few weeks ago Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar clashed at WrestleMania 38, and they put all of the gold on the line in the main event. In the end it was Roman Reins who defeated Brock Lesnar to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
The Wrestling Observer reports that even though WWE merged the main titles, and the tag team titles are set to be defended in a unification match at WrestleMania Backlash, there are currently no plans to merge the rosters.
It was noted that Vince McMahon could decide something different in the future, but as of right now there’s been no talk of WWE ending the brand split.
The Usos are currently set to put the SmackDown Tag Team Titles on the line against Raw Tag Team Champions at RK-Bro in a winners take all unification match for the belts next month at WrestleMania Backlash. It’s also being reported that Roman Reigns is set to headline the pay-per-view even though WWE seemingly hasn’t started a program for him yet. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
