It’s no big secret that Edge and Daniel Bryan have both been contributing to WWE creative, but it seems that the former world champions have two totally different approaches when it comes to the direction they want to go in.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there was a noticeable different between Edge and Daniel Bryan heading into the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, as Edge was pushing for a main event title shot for himself, while Daniel Bryan was trying to use his position as a way to get other people over.
Obviously we know how things ultimately went in the end as Edge entered the 30 man Royal Rumble match a number 1 and then won.
Edge appeared on Raw, NXT and SmackDown this week, but he has yet to officially announce which champion he’ll be facing at WrestleMania 37.
Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
