Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns certainly aren’t strangers as the two WWE Superstars have faced off many times over the years, and they most recently clashed at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
The Universal Title match at Crown Jewel ended in controversy after The Usos interfered and Roman Reigns defeated Roman Reigns. Brock Lesnar later lashed out on SmackDown, and he was suspended, but The Beast has returned to challenge Roman for the gold.
The Wrestling Observer reports that Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns will be the main event for the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view next month, but that it will be the first part of a multi-match series.
At this point it’s not clear how long WWE will draw out the multi-match series, but it’s been rumored for some time now that Reigns and Lesnar could be facing off at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas, TX next year. Stay tuned for updates.
