Backstage Details On Nixed Plans For Released WWE Superstars

Recently WWE got the wrestling world talking when the company released a total of 10 talents including Wesley Blake and former United States Champion Kalisto.

Fightful Select reports that WWE creative made pitches for Wesley Blake to be reunited with his former partner Buddy Murphy after Steve Cutler got releases from the company. It’s also being said that Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler worked hard to come up with ideas that would get them back on TV.

Kalisto had reportedly received a lot of praise for getting into shape while he was off TV. Kalisto had discussed the idea of becoming a free agent in 2019, but ultimately he signed a new deal with WWE in January of 2020, and later pushed to become a singles star.

Both Wesley Blake and Kalisto are under non-compete clauses which are believed to expire on July 14th.
