Keith Lee was quickly making a big impression on the WWE Universe after he made his debut on the main roster, but the former NXT Champion hasn’t appeared on WWE programming in months.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that Keith Lee’s absence is “more of a creative thing than an injury thing.” Johnson went on to say that he doesn’t know what the full story is, but that it’s possible Lee fell out of favor with Vince McMahon, and whoever knows the full story isn’t talking.
A few months ago it was reported that Vince McMahon sent Keith Lee and several other “big men” to the WWE Performance Center for extra training.
Back in February Keith Lee was supposed to compete in a triple threat match for the United States Title at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, but he was pulled from the show due to what WWE claimed was an injury.
It was later reported that original plans called for Keith Lee to win the US Title at Elimination Chamber.
