Jeff Hardy first made his debut with All Elite Wrestling back in March of 2022, and he immediately reunited with his brother Matt Hardy. Recently Matt Hardy’s contract with AEW expired and Matt has made it clear that he’s a free agent despite the fact that he recently appeared on TNA programming.
With Matt entering free agency there’s been a lot of talk about Jeff’s contract status with AEW as of late. Fightful Select is reporting that Jeff Hardy’s AEW deal is up much sooner than expected. When Jeff first signed with AEW it was done in a way that matched up his deal with Matt’s. It’s being said that’s not the case anymore, but they’re not far off.
Originally it was believed that Jeff Hardy’s deal wouldn’t be up until 2025 due to him missing time. As of late March that was not the case as Jeff’s deal was set to expire sometime in the spring.
It’s possible that AEW could extend the time on Jeff Hardy’s deal, but it hasn’t been confirmed that will be happening.
