This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw was to go home Raw for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, and former WWE Champion Edge appeared on the show in a pre-taped promo.
The Hall of Famer announced that he will be returning to the ring on Sunday night when he enters the men’s Royal Rumble match.
According to PWInsider the Edge promo that aired on Monday Night Raw this week was shot in the ring that Edge owns on his property in North Carolina.
Edge made his triumphant return to the world of professional wrestling last year when he entered the men’s Royal Rumble match. He then went on to defeat Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania 36.
Unfortunately for Edge he was injured while filming the Greatest Wrestling Match Ever with Randy Orton for the Backlash pay-per-view, which aired last June, and he’s been out of action ever since.
