Backstage Details On Dangerous Spot Not Getting Approved At WrestleMania 37

WrestleMania is easily WWE’s biggest show, and WrestleMania 37 was extra special because it was the first show in over a year to have live fans in attendance. The WrestleMania stage also featured an extravagant display which included a giant pirate ship at the top of the entrance ramp.

This year Kevin Owens faced off against Sami Zayn on the Grandest Stage of Them All, and Fightful Select reports that Owens expressed to people backstage that he wanted to jump off the pirate ship.

The spot was not approved, but it’s being said that the weather was not a factor, and that the match not being a no disqualification match was a setback in regards to the idea.

The idea was pitched to creative, but was never officially given the green light.

Unfortunately for Owens he wasn’t able to jump off he pirate ship, but he did pick up a victory over Sami Zayn.
