AJ Styles and Omos have been working together for some time now, but their tag team officially fell apart last week on Monday Night Raw, and now it seems that their run is over.
PWInsider is now reporting that current plans call for AJ Styles to work as a babyface, and for Omos to work as a heel moving forward. AJ Styles picked up a win over Apollo Crews in a singles match on Raw this week.
AJ Styles was originally set to face Omos on Raw, but it was reported that Omos left Detroit before the show went on the air. Omos did face off against AJ Styles during the WWE live event at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night and Styles won the match via DQ.
WrestleVotes recently reported that WWE sped up the AJ Styles & Omos split because the company has significant plans for both stars in 2022, and they wanted their feud blown off before the Royal Rumble. Stay tuned for updates.
