Rumors of Shane McMahon’s return started making the rounds before the Royal Rumble on Saturday night, and the former European Champion returned when he entered the men’s Royal Rumble match at number 28. Now that Shane is back it sounds like fans can expect to see a lot more of him going forward.
PWInsider is reporting that current plans call for Shane McMahon to join the Monday Night Raw brand, and he will be a regular on the show moving forward. It was also noted that Shane McMahon will be working as a heel.
It was also recently reported that WWE has a match on the books for Shane McMahon at WrestleMania, and the plan is for Shane to work the Elimination Chamber PPV in February and WrestleMania 38 in April.
There’s currently no word on who Shane McMahon might end up facing on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
