Last week WWE released a total of 18 Superstars from NXT and the main roster, and there were some surprising names on the list such as Karrion Kross, Scarlett Bordeaux, Keith Lee and Mia Yim just to name a few.
Fightful Select reports that the new gimmicks that were introduced for Karrion Kross and Keith “Bearcat” Lee were not their ideas. Several people in the company reportedly brought up the direction of Karrion Kross when it came to his character and how he was booked. There were plans to make changes to his character once again, but most people in the company felt that the booking was the problem, not the character.
WWE wanted Scarlett as a wrestler on either Raw or SmackDown, but it’s being said that she was quickly sidelined. People in the company pushed for Scarlett to be paired with Karrion Kross on the main roster, but obviously that did not happen.
Mia Yim was drafted to Raw but not used. There were tentative plans for her to appear on shows before the draft, and she quietly switched brands multiple times, but plans for Yim ended up getting nixed.
