Cody Rhodes made his big return to the WWE programming earlier this year when he defeated Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 38, but he’s been out of action since June due to a torn pectoral muscle.
Rhodes did appear at the ESPYs last month and won the award for Best WWE Moment. Fightful Select reports that the results were decided by vote which was said to have been very one sided in favor of Cody.
It’s also being reported that the Cody Rhodes’ Mattel Creations Ultimate Edition sold very well, very quickly. It had one of the highest pre-order totals since WWE’s relationship with Mattel started.
Details regarding Cody’s condition and a possible timetable for his return are still unknown. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
