Last week WWE shocked the world when it was announced that Bray Wyatt had been released from his contract, and the wrestling community is still processing the release.
Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated reports that two days before he was released Bray Wyatt was cleared from an “undisclosed physical ailment” on July 29th.
It’s also being reported that Bray Wyatt signed a new contract with WWE in 2020, but the length of the deal was not known. Wyatt was one of the top merch sellers in the company which is why people were surprised that he was released due to budget cuts.
WWE was recently selling Bray Wyatt merchandise in Chicago and Wyatt’s merchandise is still being sold on WWE Shop. Stay tuned for updates.
