AXS has done nothing but good things for New Japan Pro Wrestling, as the network has exposed the company to new fans. But the wrestling world is always changing and recently All Elite Wrestling was officially announced.
All Elite Wrestling is a very new company, but it’s been reported that they have some strong TV deals on the table at the moment.
However, it doesn’t look like AEW will be airing on AXS.
Wrestling Inc. recently spoke with AXS TV Fights CEO Andrew Simon, and he confirmed that the network is not looking to add AEW to the lineup at this time.
“We have a strong partner in New Japan Pro Wrestling. With AEW, I believe there are talks out there for television deals, but currently we are not looking to add AEW to the roster. But we’d be open to listening. Our first priority will always be to our current partner.”
