Austin Theory has been one of the stars to watch in WWE since he arrived on the main roster and he seems to be in a good spot as he’s the current WWE United States Champion.
Theory has worked with many wrestlers throughout the course of his career so far, and during a recent interview with Inside The Ropes he gave Finn Balor credit for showing him the ropes.
“Finn is actually somebody [who] when I first started doing live events on the main roster, I worked with him a lot. And [he’s] somebody that kind of helped me with the blueprint and showed me the ropes and stuff like that. So that’s definitely somebody that’s up there for me in help.”
It was confirmed last week on Monday Night Raw that Austin Theory will defend his United States Championship against John Cena at WrestleMania 39. The show will air live from SoFi Stadium on April 1 and April 2. At this point it hasn’t been confirmed if Theory vs. Cena will take place on night 1 or night 2. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
