Austin Aries joined Neville in the ring after his successful title defense on Raw and Neville didn’t have a chance to reply to the opening question because the crowd wouldn’t stop chanting for Aries. Neville told Aries he did exactly what he said he would do as Austin looked on with a grin and shook his head in mild agreement. Neville said there is nobody on 205 Live that holds a candle to him and Austin asked for him to clarify that there isn’t anyone on his level as the crowd began to chant for Austin Aries once again.
Aries said it seems that the WWE Universe disagrees with him and the crowd broke out in “Yes” chants. Neville got in Austin’s face and told him to see himself back to the announcer’s desk. Neville told Austin Aries he better get out of the ring before he re-breaks his orbital socket. Austin took his sunglasses off after Neville kept spitting in his face while he spoke.
A-Double said he had one more question, but it was more of a statement. After that, he popped Neville in the face with the microphone and followed it up with a forearm. Neville powered out of the ring as Aries leapt up on the top turnbuckle. The Chicago crowd went insane as Austin Aries grabbed the Cruiserweight Title Neville left behind and he laid it out for Neville to come back and get it.
This was an amazing match followed by an even more amazing segment. Austin Aries is back.
