Austin Aries Reacts To His Win At NXT TakeOver: Dallas, Shinsuke Nakamura Comments On His Match

Baron Corbin attacked Austin Aries the moment he arrived in NXT and last night the two faced off in a singles match to settle the score. Corbin hasn’t been shy about the fact that he doesn’t like Austin Aries and he tried real hard to bring the pain during their match. But Austin Aries seized the right opportunity at the right time when he reversed the End of Days into a roll up for the win.

WWE caught up with Austin Aries after his match and Aries told them that he’s one of the most polarizing figures in professional wrestling. He says that it doesn’t matter if Baron Corbin didn’t respect him when he walked through the doors, because he made Corbin respect him when he defeated him in the ring. He went on to say that people better get used to him because Austin Aries isn’t going anywhere for a long time. Check it out in the clip above.

Shinsuke Nakamura made his highly anticipated debut last night when he faced Sami Zayn at NXT TakeOver: Dallas. The two put on what was easily one of the best matches of the year so far and the audience loved them for it. Following the match WWE asked Nakamura for a comment backstage. While Nakamura was waiting for Funaki to translate he interrupted and simply said that “The King of Strong Style has arrived.” You can check it out below.
