Austin Aries is a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, and a former ROH World Champion, and just a few weeks ago he was part of the WWE roster. Fans waited a long time to see Austin Aries wrestle inside a WWE ring, but it appears that WWE just wasn’t the right place for him.

After suffering an injury in a match with Shinsuke Nakamura, Austin Aries was called up to the main roster to work as a commentator for the cruiserweight division, and he was later added to the division once he was cleared to return. Aries challenged Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship several times, but he was unable to capture the belt.
Now that Aries is no longer a WWE star, he’s looking forward to the next chapter of his career, and he recently debuted a different look on Twitter.
The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion shaved his head, and his beard, and as he noted in his tweet, he bares a striking resemblance to Pitbull now.
Aries is currently waiting out his 90 day no compete clause which will expire on October 5th, but he is allowed to work independent dates that are approved by WWE in the meantime.
