Current NXT Women’s Champion Asuka has been working tag team matches at WWE live events recently, and her involvement in the matches has created a lot of speculation that she may be getting called up sometime in the near future.
Alexa Bliss will be defending her SmackDown Women’s Title at WrestleMania 33, and there’s also a lot of speculation that we could see some surprises in the title match. One of the most popular fan theories making the rounds right now is that Asuka may be making an appearance at WrestleMania. It remains to be seen if she will be appearing at WrestleMania, but it’s being reported that she’s probably not getting called up soon.
Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Asuka is scheduled to stay in NXT for a while. The current NXT Women’s Champion will be defending her title against Ember Moon at NXT Takeover: Orlando the night before WrestleMania 33.
