Asuka is the current NXT Women’s Champion and she’s made her mark on the brand since she first debuted. She’s been tearing through the competition and she’s coming dangerously close to breaking Goldberg’s historic streak from WCW.
There’s no denying that Asuka is fun to watch and WWE recently added her to the Madison Square Garden event on March 12th where she will be replacing Naomi in an eight person tag team match.
The Empress of Tomorrow has been added to a few more upcoming WWE live events, as she’s currently being advertised for the following SmackDown live events:
March 13th – Charleston, WV
March 25th – Johnson City, TN
March 26th – Raleigh, NC
March 27th – Norfolk, VA
Asuka is just one of the many talented women currently working under the WWE brand and it looks like the company has added yet another international talent to their ranks.
Gerweck.net is reporting that Australian wrestler Demi Bennett has been offered a WWE developmental deal and she has arrived in Florida to sign her contract. Bennett made her in ring debut on 2013 and she’s a former Riot City Wrestling Women’s Champion.
She will become a part of the NXT roster and she won’t be the only Australian star working for the brand, as Peyton Royce and Billie Kay also hail from Australia as well.
