Pat McAfee has made quite the name for himself in the world of sports and sports media. McAfee’s daily show has become quite popular and he’s also become familiar to millions of wrestling fans all around the world. Now it seems that Pat McAfee is preparing to make the jump to the acting world.
Bloomberg is reporting that Ari Emanuel is trying to turn Pat McAfee into the next Sylvester Stallone. The report notes that while Emanuel no longer runs Endeavor, he is the executive chairman of WME Group and represents a handful of clients including like Larry David and Seth MacFarlane.
McAfee has been added to Emanuel’s list of clients and has been booked for TV and film roles. Pat McAfee will have a four episode arc on the Paramount+ series Tulsa King which was created by Tyler Sheridan and stars Sylvester Stallone.
According the report Pat McAfee has also been booked in Peter Berg’s upcoming movie The Mosquito Bowl. The movie is being described as a sports drama based on a book by Buzz Bissinger who is the author of Friday Night Lights, and also a client of Ari Emanuel.
