In recent weeks WWE has introduced several new title belts for both the men’s and women’s division on the main roster, and it looks like more changes could be coming. Despite all of the changes that have taken place Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens are still carrying around the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Titles, but changes could be made to the belts if they lose them.
Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens are set to defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against Pretty Deadly on the June 30 episode of SmackDown, and they teased that they will at least be altering the belts if they win them.
“Well, there’s a very important part of this beautiful belt that’s missing. And it’s this thing right here because what we need is we need to apply, you know, something, as we said earlier, a little more je ne sais quoi.
“We need to add on a little PD, and then when we win them, we’ll hit them with the side plate check! Because we will be champions.”
