Another WWE Superstar Shake-Up And Releases Could Be On The Way

We’re fast on the Road To WrestleMania at this point with less than 20 days left until the Show Of Shows. Fans all around the world are getting excited and WWE is stacking one of the biggest card in Mania history with this year’s offering.

But as it turns out, WWE could be experiencing a refresher of sorts shortly after WrestleMania. There is likely going to be a Superstar Shake-Up once more and we could even be getting some sad news as well because a few releases might very well be around the corner as well.

“There is going to be a shake-up which is obvious. But unfortunately, after WrestleMania there will also be cuts and some of your lower level guys are gonna be cut,” Bryan Alvarez said on Wrestling Observer Live. “It’s not gonna be your Dolph Zigglers but–.”

Then cohost Mike Sempervive chimed in saying that hopefully, WWE will get with Ziggler what they got with Kofi Kingston, “where it’s like how long is Kofi going to be able to float around and obviously the New Day thing came along. It’s either repackage or recycle, you know or hopefully get out of the way for some of the people like your Adam Coles or whoever it might be coming up.”

“There is a hierarchy, there should be a hierarchy,” Alvarez continued. “I know we live in an era where people feel like everybody should get a fair shake, you know it’s not like that. Throughout the history of wrestling, there have been stars, there have been midcarders, and there have been opening match guys that come and go and that’s how you do a successful wrestling company.”

“When you try to make everybody somebody then you have nobody that’s anybody,” Bryan Alvarez brilliantly concluded. “But the point is some of these guys are not going to be main eventers and that’s okay. They’re making a lot of money and they’re wrestling. That’s what they wanted to do was become wrestlers when they were kids. Not everybody gets to be World Champion.”

Not only was that an awfully poetic way to put it, but Alvarez is correct. There will be a shake-up after WrestleMania this year because historically that’s what has taken place. In the past, WWE usually trims off some talent as well.

WWE already started making cuts in NXT so the main roster could very well be next. Therefore, don’t be surprised if you see a couple Superstars find their merchandise in the clearance section of the WWE Shop very soon because they’ve been wished the best of luck in their future endeavors.
