WrestleMania weekend is officially here and it’s already been eventful to say the least. Ahead of WrestleMania 41, Rey Mysterio officially announced that he is not cleared to compete. Mysterio also confirmed that Rey Fenix will be taking his place at WrestleMania as Fenix will go on to face off against El Grande Americano.
During the WrestleMania pre-show WWE aired video footage that was captured earlier in the day which showed that Bayley had been attacked. Lyra Valkyria and Adam Pearce checked on Bayley as Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez walked by. Liv and Raquel denied that they were involved with the attack on Bayley, but they pointed out that Bayley probably won’t be able to compete at WrestleMania.
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions suggested that they just win the match via forfeit, but Adam Pearce told them they will defend the titles in the ring on Sunday. Lyra Valkyria told Pearce that she still wants to face Liv & Raquel, so Adam Pearce told her that she had 24 hours to find a partner.
Following the events that took place it appears that Bayley has been pulled from the title match at WrestleMania 41, and Lyra Valkyria will be teaming up with a mystery partner.
