The WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournament kicked off last week on Monday Night Raw, but the original card for the tournament has already gone through several big changes. A number of WWE stars that were originally advertised for the tournament have been pulled due to injury, and now it looks like another name has been added to the list.
Adam Pearce announced today that Zelina Vega is not medically cleared to compete, so she has been pulled from the Queen of the Ring tournament. He then followed up by confirming that Maxxine Dupri will take Zelina Vega’s place in the tournament when she faces off against Shayna Baszler tonight at the WWE live event in Macon, GA.
Other names who have been pulled from the tournament due to injury include Asuka, Xavier Woods, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley. The finals for the tournament will take place at the King and Queen of the Ring premium live event which is set to air on Saturday, May 25.
