WWE contracts are a very hot topic in the wrestling world right now as a number of deals are set to expire in the coming months. Recently it was reported that Angel Garza’s WWE deal is set to expire on August 1st and it looks like another deal is currently set to expire on the same day.
Fightful Select is now reporting that Humberto Carillo’s WWE contract is also set to expire on August 1st. It’s being said that WWE is interested in retaining Humberto. The two sides are reportedly in negotiations and an offer has been made.
Humberto Carillo wrestles under his real name, so he would be to continue using the name if he decides to part ways with WWE and wrestle elsewhere.
Carillo first signed with WWE in 2018 and he went on to make appearances on NXT and 205 Live. In 2019 he was called up to the main roster and drafted to the Raw brand. Humberto formed a tag team with Angel Garza in 2021 and currently both members of the team are part of the Legado Del Fantasma stable.
