Over the last few months NXT has been going through some major changes since it was relaunched as NXT 2.0. The brand has been focusing on new stars, and some of NXT’s top stars have contracts that will be expiring soon.
PWInsider reports that this will be Kyle O’Reilly’s final week with WWE if he doesn’t come to terms on a new deal with the company. O’Reilly has been one of the top stars in NXT for years now, and he’s set to team up with Von Wagner to challenge Imperium for the NXT Tag Team Titles at WarGames on Sunday night.
There’s currently no word on whether or not O’Reilly will be signing a new deal with WWE, but Johnny Gargano is in a similar situation as his contract is set to expire this week, and he recently teased that he’s finishing up with the company.
Gargano will team with Tommaso Ciampa, Pete Dunne, and LA Knight to face Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Tony D’Angelo, and Grayson Waller at NXT WarGames tonight. Stay tuned for updates.
