The XFL is making big moves ahead of the 2020 season, and last week it was officially announced that Landry Jones signed with the league.
Now it looks like another athlete has agreed to play in the XFL as former New England Patriots quarterback Ryan Mallett took to Instagram to confirm that he’s accepted an invite from CEO Oliver Luck to join the draft pool.
Mallett last played in the NFL in 2017. In addition to his time with the New England Patriots he also played for the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens.
Earlier this summer Ryan Mallett participated in the XFL summer showcase in Tampa Bay.
Recently the XFL has been teasing logo reveals on social media, so it seems that an announcement regarding team names could be on the way.
