Another NXT Talent Released From Their Contract

Sawyer Fulton recently confirmed that he has been released from his NXT contract, and now another name has been released as well. Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that NXT trainee Leo Gao was released from his contract on Friday. Gao commented on his release by quoting a famous line from a familiar movie.

Leo Gao never made it to a point where he was given the opportunity to make his TV debut, but Gao was a favorite amongst everyone at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

Gao reportedly injured his neck back in August, and although he was recently cleared for limited action, the injury was said to be very serious.

NXT talents aren’t the only ones getting released as of late, as WWE recently announced that Emma, Summer Rae and Darren Young have been all released from their contracts.

The NXT roster is now looking ahead to NXT TakeOver: WarGames which will take place the night before the Survivor Series pay-per-view.

The iconic War Games match is set to return on Saturday, November 18, and WWE recently announced the rules for the match which can be read here.
