Fans saw quite a few NXT stars make their main roster debuts on WWE programming this week. Monday night Paige returned on Raw, and she announced that she didn’t come alone.
NXT star Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville then debuted on the main roster, and it looks like they’ll be working as part of a stable led by Paige from here on out.
Tuesday night three more names from NXT joined the main roster when Ruby Riot, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan all appeared in a backstage segment where they beat down Naomi and Becky Lynch.
Now it looks like 205 Live will be adding one of NXT’s finest to the roster in the weeks to come, as it was confirmed on the show this week that Hideo Itami is getting called up. An official date for his debut wasn’t announced, but he will be joining 205 Live “soon.”
Hideo Itami also commented on his main roster debut.
Hideo Itami joined NXT a few years ago, but unfortunately he hasn’t found the success that some of his counterparts have due to issues with injuries.
It’s been rumored for a few weeks now that WWE officials have been considering calling him up to join the cruiserweight division.
