The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal is set to return at WrestleMania this year and another participant was confirmed on this week’s episode of Raw.
It appears that his match with Shaquille O’Neal may be off, because this week it was confirmed that Big Show will be entering the battle royal. Big Show won the second Andre The Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania 31 back in 2015. So far the only other names confirmed for the match are Mojo Rawley and Apollo Crews.
For months now fans have expected Big Show to face off against Shaquille O’Neal at WrestleMania, but both men have recently been saying that the status of the match is up in the air.
Big Show’s inclusion in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal seems to be another indication that he won’t he facing Shaq at WrestleMania 33.
A few weeks ago Kevin Owens turned on Chris Jericho during the Festival of Friendship and this week the two men were on opposite sides of the ring in a tag team match. After the match was over Kevin Owens brought the fight to Jericho and he beat him down once again.
Later in the night Chris Jericho was interviewed backstage and he announced that next week he will host a special edition of The Highlight Reel where he will expose the “real” Kevin Owens.
