WWE has been going through some huge changes over the last few years which has resulted in numerous depatures from the company. Now it seems that another long-time employee is no longer with WWE.
PWInsider is now reporting that WWE’s longest running employee Sue Aitchinson parted ways with the company on Friday. Sue Aitchinson served as the Director of Community Relations and she had been with WWE for over 38 years. It’s being said that Aitchinson was let go. Sue started with WWE back in 1986 and in 2019 she was given the Warrior Award at the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Aitchinson is credited for leading WWE’s community outreach programs and building the company’s relationship with Make-A-Wish. She also helped to launch the WrestleMania Reading Challenge.
According to the report Sue’s WWE departure was met with shock from long-time former employees and is being seen as a sign that the old era of WWE has come to an end.
