Monday night the stars of Raw made their way to Boston for this week’s show, and WWE is set to return to Boston in October.
Originally the TLC pay-per-view was set to take place from the TD Garden in Boston, but the October 21st event is now being advertised as a Supershow instead of TLC.
Whether or not the event has been temporarily changed to a Supershow while WWE officials come up with a new name, or if the event has been changed from a PPV to a live event is unclear at this point.
TLC has been a part of WWE’s annual pay-per-view schedule for years now, but it looks like WWE might be making a change.
WrestleVotes also notes that WWE is reshuffling the deck, and Clash of Champions could be changed as well, but Hell in a Cell and Survivor Series remain the same.
There is some reshuffling going on regarding upcoming WWE PPV events. September show in Texas remains as is. Boston date for 10/21 is now a TBD event. Survivor Series in LA remains unchanged. The Clash of Champions name is on the outs as the December date in San Jose is also TBD.
