It was recently reported that Andrade had requested to be released from his WWE contract, and shortly after the news started making the rounds Andrade himself confirmed via Twitter that he requested his release.
On Sunday night WWE confirmed that Andrade has indeed been released, and now the wrestling world is waiting to see where he will go from here.
Following his WWE release the former NXT Champion took to Twitter to thank Triple H, Paul Heyman and William Regal when he posted the following:
βI want to thank @TripleH, @HeymanHustle and @RealKingRegal for all these years and great support that they gave me all these years also to the fans who were always supporting me, a big hug to all the talent and workers who always behaved kindly to me. ππΌππΌβ
At this point itβs not clear what the future holds for Andrade, but itβs believed that he will be free to work for another wrestling company when his non compete clause expires in June.
