Over the last few years women’s wrestling has evolved in a major way in WWE. The women’s revolution shows no signs of slowing down, and it looks like the female stars of WWE could be getting their very own event.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that WWE officials are discussing the idea of holding an all women’s event for the main roster in the fall, possibly in September or October.
The women of WWE weren’t allowed to compete at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia back in April, so this could be WWE’s way of making up for that.
The show isn’t set in stone just yet, and it’s unclear at this point if the event will feature wrestlers from NXT and/or names from the past.
