Monday night, Chad Gable joined the Monday Night Raw roster, and Tuesday on SmackDown Live, his former partner Shelton Benjamin made his way to the ring and said that he never needed Gable.
Benjamin told the fans that he asked Paige for some big competition, and Randy Orton start making his way to the ring. Orton got about half way there before United States Champion Jeff Hardy’s music hit. Jeff Hardy officially joined SmackDown and defeated Benjamin in a non-title match.
The announce team confirmed that Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville have joined SmackDown.
Later in the show, Sin Cara made his way to the ring and waited for his opponent, who turned out to be the newest member of the SmackDown roster, Samoa Joe.
Samoa Joe made short work of Sin Cara after he beat him down and ended the match with the Coquina Clutch. Joe then cut a promo saying that he’s going to be getting all the opportunities on SmackDown Live. He said he’s going to put Daniel Bryan to sleep, de-fang The Viper Randy Orton, and he’s going to decimate the WWE Champion AJ Styles.
WWE aired a video package announcing that SAnitY will be joining SmackDown Live.
Backstage Big Cass joined the roster when he confronted Daniel Bryan and called him a “little man.”
Charlotte Flair later defeated Billie Kay with Becky Lynch, Peyton Royce and Carmella at ringside. Carmella attacked Charlotte after the match, but Asuka joined the SmackDown roster and helped the faces clean house.
Another video package aired confirming Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are joining SmackDown.
The Bar appeared in a promo video and announced that they’re also joining the blue brand.
As The New Day walked backstage, they encountered R-Truth who said he’s happy to be on Raw. The New Day then explained to him that it’s Tuesday, and he’s on SmackDown.
Zelina Vega appeared in a video with Andrade “Cien” Almas, and she announced that he will be getting called up to join the blue brand.
