Alicia Fox recently spoke to the Miami Herald to promote the new season of Total Divas. You can check out the full interview here and read some highlights below.
Improving her in ring skills:
“My in-ring skills are always something I’m going to continue to work on as I still have so much further to go,” said the former WWE Divas champion. “I’ve improved in that department, but I’m still looking to improve more. I’m hoping my speaking skills are improving. I can tell I’ve improved from the first day, but I’d like to see those improve more, and I’d like to speak more on our WWE programming.
“More importantly, confidence, too. You have to have self confidence. I heard a quote recently which I thought was interesting. ‘Self confidence comes from preparation.’ That’s very basic, but it’s a good reminder. Preparation is key. I keep thinking, ‘Just go for it.’
If Total Divas has changed her life:
“Life hasn’t really changed much, other than the fact that going to the grocery store becomes in some cases a meet-n-greet,” Fox said. “That just means to me people are digging what we’re doing out there, and it’s been really good feedback. So it’s been uplifting…I’m realizing what kind of an impact I have on our fans and women, and it’s helping me be a better person.”
