Alexa Bliss defended her SmackDown Women’s Title against Becky Lynch on the last episode of 2016, and Alexa Bliss retained with a little help from La Luchadora.

Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss went back and forth for a while before La Luchadora appeared out of nowhere to distract Lynch. Alexa Bliss then took advantage and beat Becky down, but Lynch caught a second wind and put Alexa Bliss in the Dis-Arm-Her. Bliss got her foot to the rope and the referee counted to five to break up the hold. La Luchadora then distracted Lynch and Alexa Bliss put her away with a DDT.
After the match Alexa Bliss was asked who it was that was wearing the La Luchadora costume and she said she didn’t know, and she nonchalantly added that it might have been Sasha Banks or Nia Jax before she walked away.
I’m sad I didn’t get Alexa for Christmas but glad she’s still champ. I’ll tune in to smackdown just for her.
