Alexa Bliss Responds To Fans Who Think She Isn’t As Talented As The Four Horsewomen

Alexa Bliss recently made history by becoming the longest reigning Raw Women’s Champion in the short history of the belt, but it seems that the former NXT star still has a fair few critics despite her recent achievements.

Bliss has proved a number of these critics wrong over the past few years, but it seems that the main issue is that many fans believe Alexa isn’t as talented in the ring as the likes of Sasha Banks and Charlotte because she doesn’t do flashy moves.

The current Champion recently appeared on Sam Roberts’ podcast where she finally responded to these comments.

She said: “Being a bad guy, I try not to do a lot of flashy moves and a lot of, I guess, good guy skills because that’s not my character and I feel like people take that as, ‘oh, well, she’s not as skilled as Sasha [Banks] or Bayley, Charlotte [Flair], or Becky [Lynch]. I take that as a challenge. I’m like, ‘well, I can do all these things. I chose not to because I don’t have to. My character isn’t supposed to be flashy and be over-the-top. I’m supposed to be dirty in the ring.”

Alexa makes a valid point, many wrestlers have changed their style in-ring when they’ve changed character because heels are not traditionally known to perform flashy moves. Alexa hasn’t been a face since her time in NXT, so it will be interesting to see if she changes up her style when she’s finally given a face run on the main roster.
