Fans have been waiting a long time for Alexa Bliss to return as it’s been over two years since she’s stepped into a WWE ring. PWInsider recently reported that Bliss was set to return on Raw in San Jose a few weeks ago, but all creative plans were dropped for her return. Bliss reportedly wanted to negotiate a new contract with WWE while the company wanted her to work under her existing deal.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is now reporting that Bliss and WWE are said to be far enough apart that people in the company aren’t expecting a deal to be made.
Originally Alexa Bliss was set to work with The Wyatt Sicks. However, those plans fell through when both sides failed to reach a financial agreement. The Wyatt Sicks were then moved to SmackDown a week later, but the belief is that the situation with Bliss likely didn’t have anything to do with the move.
Alexa Bliss has been active on social media recently, although she has not commented on her current status with WWE. As of right now Bliss is said to be unlikely for the women’s Royal Rumble match this weekend unless a deal is put together for the right money.
