Alexa Bliss is the current WWE Raw Women’s Champion, and Sunday night she’ll be defending her title against Sasha Banks at the biggest party of the summer, SummerSlam.
Bliss has come a long way since she was called up from NXT in the WWE Draft last year, and she’s the first woman in history to hold both the Raw and SmackDown Live Women’s Title. Most wrestlers work their whole career to achieve the level of success that Alexa Bliss has found, and she shows no signs of stopping.
“I’d like to wrestle for as long as I can,” said Bliss to ESPN.com. “I’ve always liked watching wrestling, but once you are on the other end of it, you develop a certain passion for it and respect for it and I would like to accomplish everything I want to before calling it quits.”
When the new season of Total Divas premieres, fans will notice some fresh new faces that have been added to the cast, one of which will be Alexa Bliss. The current Raw Women’s Champion is known for creating drama in and outside of the ring on Monday Night Raw, but she says that she’ll be avoiding drama at all costs on the show.
“I’ve been kind of the peacekeeper between people,” said Bliss. “If people get into an argument, I tell them, ‘I’m the youngest one here why am I the most mature, why is that?’ I try to mend everything. I don’t do drama. I don’t like drama. I just watch it happen, but I don’t want to be in it.”
