Alexa Bliss Reveals She Was Part Of An Awkward Proposal At Axxess Last Year

Alexa Bliss is the current Raw Women’s Champion, and she’ll be defending her title against Nia Jax at WrestleMania 34.

WrestleMania Week was memorable for Alexa Bliss last year, but for all the wrong reasons. She lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Naomi at WrestleMania 33, and she recently told NOLA.com that she was part of an awkward proposal during WrestleMania Axxess.

“It was very interesting. Someone handed me a ring and was like, ‘I need you to give this to my girlfriend because I’m proposing.’ I was like oh gosh. … She just kind of looked at him real funny.” “I’m not very good at marriage proposals apparently. I don’t think she was expecting it or she didn’t want it or the fact that it wasn’t him asking, it was literally me.”

Proposals at wrestling events are nothing new, as they do happen from time to time, but one has to imagine that when a wrestler gets personally involved it could either go really well, or it could go horribly wrong. It sounds like this one went horribly wrong.

Do you think Alexa Bliss will manage to successfully defend her championship against Nia Jax at WrestleMania this year? Sound off in the comments below.
